Only your hairdresser can answer that question. My bet is that if the average person handed out bottles of Iodine to their familiy members, it would get scored in the mental notes of each family member as just one more reason to consider committing that person to an institution. A better reception might be had passing out bottles of Scotch or wine at a mormon bat-mitzvah, or aspartame-bearing chewing gum at a convention of phenylketouronics.

That's my average read anyhow. Some may have more luck than others.

As is the case in politics, it usually takes a crisis to motivate people to change their ways of thinking and those who've never had the Big One-I'd element in them, have no way to know how it will make them feel, and would continue on as usual. Heck, I would have had I not been stricken.
