If I remember correctly, it was a little bit too sweet for my taste. Plus I tend to need a lot higher dose of anti-parasiticals, than other people do, perhaps because my liver is recovering from hep c, perhaps because I'm "going for a really deep cleanse" as my accupuncturist describes it. I always start with a lower dose than recommended, and increase until I get the results I want. It was effective for me, at significantly more than the recommended dose.
