I cannot address the "how much" simply because we HAVE established that the Iodine also loosens up toxins. I do not recall a link, maybe someone else????....

Everything in my spirit tells me that your loosened toxins would not enter the baby, but of course I have no scientific proof of that.

The bottom line is, your baby needs Iodine just as much as you do. If you keep it to a minimum, at least you'll be keeping both of you from a worse deficiency; you and your baby will have a better chance at improved health. As far as "pushing the envelope" on Iodine dosage and the subsequent detoxing it will cause, it may be better to wait until your baby is weaned.
