"I believe with Apxr's knowledge and expertise in this field (and yours too) that you would be able to spot a fake a mile away! This should have alerted many more people than it actually did. I am very surprised how very little people questioned them and took them for "real". I can only imagine people were in the same boat as me, they didn't see them as fake and didn't feel they were in a position to question them."

Photographs are hard to tell whether they're authentic or not. We're not saying that they are fakes; however, there are a lot of unanswered questions which raises a lot of doubt!! I'm not a "photographic forensic expert" and neither is Apxr.

Perhaps people didn't have questions because they thought we were being "mean", not realizing that we really DID have questions. The educational tour is to help and to inform people in an educational way; the information could be applied to any/all pictures. Isn't CZ about "EDUCATION"?

One other thing. Lastly, I consulted with someone who is involved with cancer research with lab experience, who looks at specimens all the time. He only viewed the E. coli picture. In his opinion, E. coli should not be cultured from stool -- he also had questions on the picture (he wanted to know where were the E. coli rods, same questions I had asked) -- an electron microscope is best for E. coli. (I've also read that for E. coli, microbiologist use electron microscopes for viewing.) I further asked a photographer and graphic artist who felt that there were some "suspicious" items that can't normally be accounted for in photographs.
