G - Excellent point about a dead worm rotting in the head causing a brain infection. My husband saw a show recently where a woman had to have a dead Tapeworm surgically removed from her skull. Something about after it died, it adhered to the skull causing seizures and other symptoms.

I don't want to be an alarmist, but if one has them in the head, like we do, you really don't know exactly what you're dealing with, and you really don't know what substances cross the bbb and to what extent.

Of course, there can be different types in the brain. Ascaris might not cause the same situation as the one above, and maybe not all Tapeworms cause the same situation either. Problem is, there is just isn't enough information about it out there.
