Jurriaan, A guy I see posting here said something I agree with. I paraphrase… The old school thinking is not very responsive to change. Change, when it comes, comes from subsequent generations.

My wife told me this story, This band of monkeys always ate fruit that fell on the ground. It got covered with dirt, but they ate it anyway. One day this female discovered that she could wash it in water to get the dirt off. She showed that trick to her kids and they did it too. But the old males who ran the band refused to learn to wash the fruit. They grew old and died never adopting the new way. They ate their fruit dirty in spite of being shown a better way. But after their deaths, all the band now washes their fruit before eating it. Just a case in point. In time, a good idea will win out.

Keep up the good fight my friend. Apes aren’t the only beings where the old school resists change. If your stuff has therapeutic benefit, people just coming into the recovery industry will look at it with a less jaundiced eye than their predecessors.

Richard
