you are exposed to the things that are causing your problems. health is determined by what you do every day. just because it doesnt seem to effect others is a delusion. it is effecting everyone. the fact that most seem to be able to function in this environment is planned. that is all that is planned for - daily function with no apparent link to the environment to onset of illness. the rest of it, we're on our own. you are a canary in the mine.
