I don't know because I haven't used an irrigator yet. But I would say that both is what you should do. Then you would have the best of all worlds.

OP does a lot more than just dental. You are also absorbing necessary fatty acids. It's a double therapy.

So I'm afraid I can't answer that, but I would do both.
