Your post did not contain a single accurate statement.

As far back as 1961 it was shown that through immunization, polio can be eliminated.  This was based on the campaign in Easter Europe and Cuba .  Later on the same positive results were observed in South and Central American countries. Because polio requires a human reservoir, vaccination is an effective means of eradicating the disease.

There was very little resistance in the various European immunization campaigns, so you are either lying or getting your information from unreliable sources.  Compliance was the norm in every country.  And on top of that you are repeating the same lie about vaccinated people getting sick, this has already been addressed in Vaccine Myth 2

Get your head out of your ass and read the actual results and not the heavily biased and misinterpreted junk you find in anti-vax websites.  There are several places in the world where polio is still found wildtype, certain regions of Afghanistan , Pakistan , Somalia , Congo and Iraq for example.  Polio can be imported from any of these or similar regions.  Vaccine associated polio is known to occur among the immune deficient – this occurs 1 in every 2.5 million doses of the vaccine.  This may be of cold comfort if it happens to your child, but without the vaccine hundreds of thousands of children would be crippled by the disease.

If you had paid attention to the source of the article, you would have noticed it was from the Canadian government.  In Canada the govt. pays for vaccinations.  They know the vaccine works and that it is much cheaper and safer to vaccinate than to place a person in long-term care because they are paralyzed from the disease.  If the vaccine or other vaccines did not work, the Canadian and Provincial governments could save hundreds of millions of dollars by not providing vaccines.  Other governments who also pay for their citizens have also evaluated the vaccine in its effectiveness and found it safe and effective.
