Oh Trapper, thank you for a precious precious gift. I have been looking for that song off and on for years. The fact that its instrumental means I may be able to pick out the tune on my dulcimer. My dulcimer is special in itself. Its made from a piece of a Black-Walnut tree my grandfather cut down in the 1950's. I designed it with my mother's help and my Dad made it with a little (well, actually a lot of) elbow grease from me. It is my most precious material possession. I call it The Ozark Lady. It needs new strings now, maybe someday I can drive to Branson to get a set, or settle from sub-par guitar strings from Fayetteville. Its funny that the song was referred to as an old spinning wheel in the parlor, I have always heard in the corner. Then I realized my grandparents were very poor. They did not have a parlor, just a kitchen and a bedroom. The word corner made more sense in their case.
Thanks again~I love you my maybe hillbilly Cuzin :)
