Hi MH,
I can see where you are coming from. I am not one of "those". Never took OTC's. Only a tylenol if pain got so bad I could not stand it.
I had so much pain in liver area and digestive upset after g/b surgery that I was hospitalized. I knew no other way at the time because I was so sick. I did spend all day saying a comforting bible verse of mine and asking God for answers. Never before or since have I taken anything except something to control the high blood sugar.
My diet is the best and was the best I knew how. I am not one who indulges as described. I am not overweight and only time I was, was when I was put on the drug for want of knowing a better way.
I have an undaunted spirit and the ability to work things out with Someone higher up than myself. Probably will depend upon that Someone for more answers.
Appreciate your input.
