You have seen this suffering, as have many of us who have older relatives and watched them waste away in pain for years until their deaths.

Those who have passed on would be so overjoyed to know that we are taking back control of our lives and turning this situation around.

When you feel this tug of sadness, especially at this time of year, remember that you are a shining beacon to many, many people. You are a person who saves lives - countless lives, many you will never know. It's impossible to know how many times others have read your posts, taken your good advice, and felt consoled by your thoughtfulness. You may never know the ripple effect this has as one person tells another who tells another. I have no doubt you have already played a part in saving someone's mother, father, or grandparent. The difference you are making in this world is profound.
