Well I remember vaguely in the past when I was a small kid, I read something from a magazine that a space capsule that is manned by people were about to fall on solid ground and through the media the American public were encouraged to use the prayers to make the space capsule fall in the water instead of solid ground. That was like 30 or so years ago.

That demonstrates that the power of intent in a big group is quite strong to have a kinetic effect on a physical object.

Unfortunately I can't find any kind of mention to this kind of event online on internet.
