Hi, I'm aware of low stomach acid basically because of the low iron issue, and because I don't digest things properly.  Tablets (and other things) come out whole, or just partly digested, and I have inflammation of the small intestines, which can be caused by low stomach acid.  I don't often belch, it tends to come out the other end!  I think my problems stem from old habits (an eating disorder), which is now history, but has left a few health problems left for me to deal with.
