Am I the only one who has a clear picture of this situation?

To Mistral: I have no idea about the validity of your post. The fact is that it is unlikely to accomplish anything buried in this CF except to make you feel better that you said it. I notice there is no Hashimoto's forum. IF what you say is true, that is where you need to post. I am sure the Webmaster would gladly create one if you asked.

As for the rest, Uniquity's post was not an important Iodine post. Neither was Grzbear's. They were mostly about peripheral issues, many of which have no bearing on supplementing Iodine one way or the other. That is not to say those things arent true OR important, just that they are not about iodine.

The VWT takes a lot of grief from many ne'erdowells for no good reason. The focus on that forum is and always has been halogen imbalance. The trumped-up low dose vs high dose schism is nothing but a bunch of crap perpetrated by busybodies and pharmedico operatives. Dont jump me for Conspiracy thinking either. If the ones that look like agent provocateurs are not, they should be because they are just as wrong and just as weasily. If they are not getting paid, they should be.

The second big issue addressed on that forum is breast health. Both issues require greater than usual amounts of Iodine in order to effectively address. There is plenty of evidence, both current and historical, that huge amounts of iodine can be taken saflely. There are always exceptions to every rule, another impossible concept for some to comprehend without turning into chicken little.

My God, what kind of mental giant does it take to recognize the essential nature of iodine in the human body and supplement some? Please, most of you, get some lives for yourselves.
