Hi folks,

I'm ending day 14 and decided to ask for some opinions and comments. Please help.

This fast has been pretty uneventful. I started 14 days ago with no planning and no target in mind, just woke up one day, threw the food away, and started it. I have no health issues, eat pretty healthy, take no medication, a little underweight (body fat slightly lower than what it should be), etc. I'm just doing it as a cleansing ritual I started last year (this is my second fast, the first one was a year ago for 7 days until I had to quit because I had laser surgery for vision correction). I was also looking for "that feeling", which hasn't happened yet (during my last cleanse I was walking on clouds starting on day 5 or so. But so far nothing).

This one is going MUCH smoother than the last one though, I am quite shocked to be honest about how easy it has been. Here is the skinny:

Days 1-3:
Pretty easy, no hunger, no feeling bad, lots of energy, jogging twice a day. These days were hell during my last fast.

Day 4- 5:
Had to quit the cayenne because I was bleeding down there as a result of some rough toilet paper cleaning (it was either the cayenne or the whole fast, I was literally crying in pain all night, it burned so bad). Also, my skin got extremely oily on day 5 no shower could take away my stink (I felt like a homeless person, thank God this went away quick).

Day 6-8:
Back with the Cayenne. Everything is good, I'm much more careful now. Baby wipes are a God send. Plenty of energy to spare, sleeping like a baby, and 5 hours is now more than enough.

Day 9:
I was sort of done with it. I got hungry for the first time (I had forgotten how much it sucks to be hungry). So I decided that the next morning I would go out and get oranges and vegetables thinking about the most awesome soup that was about to be made. I had no doubt in my mind this soup would be the best effing soup every created by mankind! I even pictured myself receiving the Great Soup Award as people all over gave me kudos... lol. Just kidding...

Day 10:
The universe is pretty ironic, eh? I woke up to a swollen tonsil (right one only), and hacking up dark mucus, with huge dark bags under my eyes. Finally, a little discomfort. So I figured I had to press on, which I did. Thank god I am not keeping the oranges or anything eatable in the house, it would have made it much easier for me to give up.

Day 11-13:
My throat hurt like a bitch, still coughing up (I quit smoking since my last fast, so this was expected). I decided to start oil pulling, and on the second day of doing that things got even worse. Also, I hurt myself running, so I have all this energy now and don't know what to do with it.

Day 14:
My throat still hurt this AM, but amazingly all the pain was gone a couple of hours after oil pulling. Just learned another trick! Wow!

And now, towards the end of day 14, here I am starving again. No amount of juice, molasses, or water will take it away (my navel hurts, but its not cramps, I can't explain it). Even the cat food is scared of my stares... it smells so good to me. Please note that I'm following the Master-Cleanse book to the tee.

I must add that I'm doing this with molasses and not maple syrup, since it is not available where I live. Also, I cannot do the tea, I tried and it gives me horrible cramps, no matter how much or little I drink of it, or how long I let it sit.

To my surprise, the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) (which I love) did not agree with me on the first 3 days (I puked every time I tried). From day 4 forward I was able to hold it in with no problems. However, I go to the bathroom all day, with or without the SWF, so things are moving (pretty disgusting things I might add).

So, should I stay or should I go? Is it time for me to stop? I really want to stop, but the little experience I have tells me I'm about to go into a crisis, and I don't want to ruin everything.

Also, this one of for the guys: do your "boys" go up in the tree house when you fast? LOL. You know, like when you swim in a very cold lake? This happened to me during the first 10 days, but all is back to normal now. I don't remember this happening last time, so I thought I would share.

Any comments are appreciated! Thank you all for being here!
