I have a terrible time sleeping and I need so much of it. I need the room to be totally dark and totally quiet, which is a problem in my neighbourhood. My husband drives me nuts (snoring, tossing, waking up REAL early), and yet when he is not there it is hard for me to get to sleep. He left this morning for a business trip and I am looking forward to not being woken up at 4am, but I will probably take forever to get to sleep anyway.

In my new job I have to get up early 5am, to start work. I finish early at midday, but have trouble sleeping during the day. I try to take a nap, but usually only manage half an hour. Because of health issues I haven't worked in 2 years, but I was doing better and so I took this job. Now I love my job, but am suffering physically. I got to bed earlier to compensate, but still wake many times during the night and my husband waking me around 4am, I don't really get back to sleep again before I have to get up.

I have had chronic fatigue for a number of years and also have adrenal fatigue. Everything I have read on AF suggests getting lots of sleep and staying in bed until after 9am. This is impossible for me. It is starting to really depress me. I would give anything to get more than a couple of hours sleep in a row.

Sleeping pills (even herbal), just leave me washed out and "fuzzy" all the next day and I don't wake up refreshed. I am getting to a point where I might have to ask my husband to sleep in another room. I would never want to do this, but I am getting desperate.
