About 2 years ago my wife had Pneumococcal Pneumonia. Being 5ft 4, 110 lbs, and very fit. She was told by a doctor that this was a very bad Pneumonia and should she get the Pneoumonia again she would have a good chance of not making it through. Also he said that the virus would remain in her system/blood forever.
After getting the olive leaf book from you way back I suggested she use it to get the pneumococcal virus out of her system. She started taking, chewing a leaf a day since she recovered ( thats how she wanted to take it) and a couple of weeks ago took a blood test and the virus is not in her blood any more.Question! After prolonged use, being an antibiotic, would olive leaf tend to kill off friendly bacteria as well as viruses. I think she should give it a rest as I feel that her immune system may be comprimised by its extended use. Normal antibiotics are not good over a long extended period as we have been told viruses can mutate and in the drug world there will be mutated super viruses that drug made antibiotics will not kill.So my question is; Could the taking of olive leaf over a extended time be harmful.
Roger.
