I used significant amounts of aloe juice for several months and received no benefit anywhere other than the happiness of the health food store that sold it to me.  It did absolutely nothing for my blood sugar levels (I'm type II) nor my cholesterol levels.  There needs to be good scientific studies done before claims like this can be made.

I've beaten prostate cancer without medical intervention, but not with aloe.  I beat it long before I tried aloe and have had numerous tests over the past 15 years and it has never returned and I still have my prostate - much to the chagrin of the urologist who wanted to remove it.  How I beat it, I'm not certain, but I used spiritual techniques in my quest and my answers for me is that I did enough spiritual healing (not religious healing) to cure it.
