Hi humanoid,
It is important to remember, that our stomach will hold it's contents and let it go to the duodenum in small quantities, where it will mix with juices from liver and callbladder. So there is no sudden rush of half a cup of OO (Olive-Oil) to meet the liverjuices. Perhaps it is fair to say, that it will cause heavier than usual discharge of bile out of liver and therefore helps to get rid of unwanted foreign matter as well.
My yesterday's flush vent very smootly and left no ill-effects afterwards.
