This article is very interesting.

Many years ago I had pneumonia, and since the parasite issue I've experienced lung pain. I've often wondered about lung bleeding and suspected it as a possibility. Of course, I didn't have any real evidence to know whether or not it was true.

In our cases, it might be hard to know exactly where the blood is coming from unless there was a culture done; even then, it still might be hard to know the location (unless lung cells were present too).
