Often it has been written that use of enemas to maintain regular BMs can only cause problems down the line.

I only use enemas, after the fact, as a rinse, so to speak, when I am doing a specific detox or cleansing.

Can anyone comment on if there is a difference WHEN one does an enema or does the procedure itself inheritantly negatively effect the intestines ability to perform properly.
