The first dog I used MSM on was Shadow, a ten year old German shepherd that had bad skin, and hip problems, so I thought. When I started treating her with the MSM she was in such bad shape, I thought I would have her put to sleep. After she was on it she was moving better than she had in years and her coat was beautiful. She got so much better that she thought she could fight a giant water moccassin and lost. I ended up having to put her to sleep, her suffering was great and there was no hope. My current dog is her son.

Shadow weighed 80 pounds, I started her on four grams a day, two in the morning and two in the evening. I use good MSM, from the health food store. I take the same stuff. I started this dog on the same dose, he is 85 pounds. I would start a twenty pound dog on a gram a day, but with the steriods maybe 1/2 gram a day (500)mg. I am sending this before I lose it, as I am on snailnet and I keep losing everything darn. I post another on dog EFT, ect.
