Hi ANVIL, it looks like you and I react the same way to larger doses of Iodine - same thing, sore throat mostly, slight cold symptoms. I took 75mg for 4 days but on the 4th day I took quite a bit more (not sure how much, some by painting). I did that to see if the Iodine was making me react. Then I took 3 days off to recover since I don't feel like being sick. I'll either lower my dose or take it intermittently.
