GRZ, what do you think of colloids? I am taking a product called super PH minerals from fulvic acid from a local herbal company, it's listed under "colloidals" in their catalog, and yet it's not labeled so on the bottle. It's liquid, kind of a light amber color. I'm paying 55$ for a quart.
I've also heard of ionic minerals, and I'm wondering what the difference is - particle size? I read years ago that colloidal minerals could collect in organs and tissues in a harmful way, and so I've avoided them up until recently when I started taking this product. I do think it's "working," although there is a small amount of sediment in the toilet lately that does not want to flush, just sits at the bottom. I don't know if it's from this product or something else I'm taking.
Also wondering if colloidal form is not good, is it OK in this product because it's from fulvic (plant material) and not "rocks?"
My diet is pretty clean and healthy, has been for some years, now. Just recently I'm trying the SCD diet (no grains/starches, but fruit OK) in hopes of correcting a long term bowel imbalance. The only problem with it so far is the increase in animal protein, which I'm not used to, seems to be slowing me down. Avoiding the gains and eating a ton of fiber, but still slow. I still don't think I could possibly get enough nutrients anqd minerals from my diet, though, particularly since I know my gut isn't real healthy and I'm probably not absorbing a lot of things, anyway. Interestingly, I've gotten the most benefit from food-form supplements in the past 2 months - cod liver oil and kelp, in particular.
Anyway... back to work. Thanks for any input you have on that topic!
