Hi everyone, just thought I would share with you my experience with the WNV. It is interesting that someone already mentioned someone have a bad case in Colorado. I believe the WNV is an epidemic, put in certain areas of the country. I used to live near Boulder, Co and 4 people I worked with, including myself, came down with the symptoms of WNV. 3 out of the 4 of us got tested (I will post how the doctors do this later) and 2 were tested positive and I was tested negative. I got tested several months after, plus I had the mildest reaction, so the virus could have gone dormant, hopefully away for good. And yes, we all noticed we got bit by mosquitos, and then came the symptoms, and didn't have a clue what we had, until tested.
This is a significant number, but the CDC claims the WNV is rare.
How could this be? I have had customers know of other people diagnosed, one had severe encphalopothy and used coconut oil for relief.
Anyway, the symptoms almost occur immediately. And the most notable is great pain in the neck and shoulder area (because the virus gets injected into the muscle) as well as fatigue.
By the way, the area we lived in was and still is heavily sprayed, I think with malathione.
