Rokybird, once again, I think your heart is in the right place. However, I believe we can distill this down to one thing possibly: Are you for personal freedom and the Constitution? Or do you believe we must have social programs in place underwritten by the government? I have a fairly severely handicapped son who will never live alone, and I'm putting my money where my mouth is; I'm walking the talk. If anyone needs social programs, it's me!!!! I absolutely without question, without even one doubt in my mind KNOW IN MY HEART that a private system of charity would help me out one bazillion times better than any kind of government social program ever will or could. And if you don't believe me, send me a private e-mail and I'll tell you detail by detail the utter HELL I have been through to get the smallest piece of help I can get. I practically have to sell my soul. I resent it bitterly, and I resent bitterly people trying to spit on my Constitutional NATURAL RIGHT to live my life as I see fit. I'm the most compassionate and socially liberal person you'll ever meet, and if you EVER, EVER want to see people cared for who need it in the way they should be cared for, the only way to do that is through private, Government-get-your-effin'-nose-out-of-it charities. American people are extremely generous and compassionate, and I'd depend on them WAY WAY WAY more than I'd ever count on socialist government. Keep out of my business and let me do it my way!!!! If I fall, I have no one but myself to blame. I often wonder why people who love their social programs so much and are willing to give their money to the government don't move to Sweden??? And that is a sincere question. I'm not kidding. Please, tell me, why not just move to Sweden??? They supposedly have an okay standard of living, and they are cared for from cradle to grave. There are places to go. I have nowhere to go to practice my beliefs. This is supposed to be that place and it has been legislated and stolen away from me and I'M PISSED!!!!!! Government, keep your nose out of my life!!!!
