Oh yes the torture of youth. Here is mine.

I had buck teeth. So in 1st grade they removed one of my upper teeth and filled my mouth with metal to close the gap. Then came the full set of braces by the time I was in 2nd grade with head gear and rubber bands...the whole nine yards. In the meantime I was still getting fillings in the torture chamber. I got to go back regularly to get my braces "tightened". I remember barely being able to chew for about 3 years. Got them off end of 5th grade.

I still remember by Orthodontist's name...Dr. Beebee.

My son has zero fillings. His teeth are fine and healthy. Many of his friends have a variety of dental problems at 15.
