I think "iodism" has been proved to be an urban legend :)if you look at the research. And that which used to be called iodism is really bromism. Sore throat seems to be the only symptom found in iodine-taking alone. Can one symptom qualify as an "ism" ?

Not so much.

It seems that some people take longer than others to detox. A couple days of taking Iodine and bromide comes flying out of their skin in boils. Others ask what the heck we are talking about because they never have any symptoms.
