Congratulations on your marriage. I've been there, too, dating and having genital herpes, but nobody that I dated had herpes and nobody ran away when I told them.

I'm now married, too, to a woman who does not have herpes of either type as determined by a recent HerpeSelect IgG test for types 1&2. We've been together for several years.

My suggestion is that people not restrict themselves to only dating others with herpes, but everyone is different and will do what they are comfortable with.
