Hi Terence,

Watermelon is both sweet and quite glycemic on the GI scale.
It is also not extremely nutritious, although it does contain potassium & lycopene.
However, should she choose to eat Watermelon once in a while, it should would be advisable not to eat it on an empty stomach, so as not to jack up her blood Sugar level too high.
