I was DX'd with RRMS 05/05. I don't take MS - or any - drugs at all. My diet is 85% organic and all-natural. I'm fasting now, and the fast includes only chicken and fish; no fried foods, sugar, dairy or white flour.
I'm supposed to eat small meals 3X a day with snacks in between. This I have NOT been doing consistently or constructively at all. I would definitely not be considered a 'good patient' by Bernie Siegel's standards
My issue is this...
While I still have the double vision I was DX'd with on '05, the weakness I experience on my right side is steadily increasing, and over the last 2mths, I have Parkinson disease-like shakes and tremors. I have to stretch very often, and with the stretch comes the shakes. My right leg shakes an awful lot as I drive. (Don't worry, I'll be giving up that habit pretty soon so I can get off the road!!)
My question is this:
While I recognize and understand the progression of this disease, is there anything I SHOULD be doing to slow down and halt the progression aside from taking drugs?
