This is my protocal:

Flush
wipe with available cleaner(if none then I use a paper as@ gasket from matierials available ie tp or other forms of parchment.
make donations
flush
wash
leave

In the situation of a port-a-john all of the above steps follow and one additional step.

Create a tp landing pad in the "blue lagoon" so as to reduce or eliminate "splash up"
