I'm with you on the raw foods and fresh juices. They have helped me a lot. I should do a colon cleanse. I sometimes still struggle with irregularity, and I know that while things are much better, it's a sign my colon still is not quite the way it should be. But changing my diet has made all the difference. I feel so much better.

For me it was 10 years on birth control pills and a mouth full of mercury that started things, I think. I just remember always getting sick, and then hiking back to the doctor for more Antibiotics . Every cold progressed into bronchitis and lingered. I also ate not so well and drank more than I should have.

I agree with you -- it has to be a whole body approach, from all angles. And we do need to be kind to the liver. I think those who cleanse while continuing to ingest things that tax the liver may be short-changing their healing.

I need to get a juicer!
