No, Iodine itself does not cause hair loss. But it loosens and kicks out heavy metals such as mercury. Mercury & others DO cause hair loss. So make sure that your elimination pathways ( bowels, urinary tract) are in tiptop shape, as well as being vigilant about the recommended supplements to be taken with iodine. The faster you get the crude out that the Iodine is pulling out of your tissues, the faster your hair will stop falling out. It should then start coming in again too.
