super, thanks for the links! I'm going to order that yogurt maker and the book. I'm passing that Dr. J link on to my dad (though that diet is pretty different - I've been doing a version of that, actually, for years), but I think he could get his head around that one a little easier, if at all. He is probably one of those lost causes, a self-induced diabetic who won't wake up to the truth.
