This is a repost of mine from the Morgellons forum.
In order to kill the mosqito larva for WEST NILE VIRUS, BT larvacide was and probably still is used. Bacillus thuringenius is not safe (highly suspect in causing Morgellons (forum here).

Apple Cider Vinegar is also used by some people on house plants (diluted mixture), but the acid is questionable in the garden because changing the chemistry of the environment might be too much of a gamble.

A lot of remedies are used to keep mosquitoes off the skin...such as AVON Skin So Soft, catnip oil, Bounce fabric softener sheets, oil of lemon eucalyptus.
