no. it is not prohibited except it says not to cook the kid in its milk, whatever that means(you must always remember there are multiple meanings and levels of meaning).

there is mention of eating honey, as with samson and john the baptitst, but not milk.

the land flowing with milk and honey are paradisical(is that a word?) because:

a - they are both foods that do not require anything to die in order to indulge in.

b - they are the premiere sign of continued life and vitality, both of plants and of animals.

that is what a land flowing with milk and honey is. it is abundant life.
