That's cool man. I notice the sun makes improvements on mine as well. I wonder, has anybody tried UV therapy on their lips? Like patients with Psoriasis use? That would be the same deal as going in the sun. I'm now going to a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. Getting accupunture twice a week and taking a herbal concoction 3 times a day for 3 weeks. This is week 1. He says I have too much heat in my system and it's causing irritation/inflammation. The herbs are cooling/dispelling heat, and I've also changed my diet to include only neutral/cool foods. Very interesting system of medicine that's been around for thousands of years. I'll let you guys know how it works out. It's neat anyway.

I've got a derm appointment on the 22nd, and I'm going to request some UV therapy. I'll keep in touch. My lips are still way better than when I started. Minimal picking/lip licking is important. Moisturize all natural and don't stress. We'll figure this out guys.

p.s. my doc wants me to use protopic, but I'm holding off until I exhaust some other options because I don't like the sound of it. Can anyone tell me about their experiences with it?
