My symptoms have required constant management with ups and downs, good days and bad days. I am female and my primary symptoms are reoccurring vaginal yeast infections. I have done the parasite cleanse, P&B shakes, Candiclear, tried Primal Defense and Fungal Defense, Olive Leaf, Oil of Oregano, and a number of other herbs.
Each time I order something new, I have renewed hope that this is the thing that will finally work for me. It has now been 14 months with these symptoms, and I never get a long reprieve. However I have spent a ton of money searching for the right cure.
I have just started taking two new products that seem to be helping. Florastor (a good yeast--non-pathogenic) and Florastor Q (a probiotic). These two together seem to be making a difference in my life. One note of caution if you decide to try these products; do not use any anti-fungals while taking the Florastor. The antifungals will kill off the good yeast you are trying to introduce into your system.
Of course I won't know for sure for a while yet. Also when I have an active infection I am finding that Yeast Arrest (boric acid suppositories) help to clear me up rather quickly.
Also someone mentioned weight gain with yeast problems. I have been battling my weight for the last several years. Any cheats resulted in almost immediate weight gain. I have noticed just in the last two weeks, I have actually lost a few pounds and it doesn't seem to be coming back. Could it be I am on the right track?
