Went to the Dr. today to get the results of my blood tests. I hadn't had my blood tested in at least 15 years, maybe more. Anyway here are the results:
Triglycerides 153, HDL 62, LDL 210. I was shocked. I don't know why I should be because I am overweight, eat like _hit, don't take care of myself cause I am "too busy". Guess that's what they will say at my funeral. "She would have taken care of herself but she was so busy". Now here I am. The Dr. wants to put me on Vytorin but I am very hesitant to start down the statin path. My blood pressure was 138/80. I also believe I suffer from an overgrowth of candida.

Does anyone out there know how bad my numbers are? I mean am I about to have a heart attack? I just ordered Cholestasys. Has anyone ever used this and how has it worked?
I have already changed my diet. Oatmeal in the morning, lots of veggies, low animal fat, no beef, lots of water, flax seed. Any other recommendations to lower the ldl fast?! I really don't want to go on statins. Please help. Freaking out.
