You couldn't move because your body was still asleep and your mind was awake. When in this state you are disconnected from your body. It is possible to move away from your body and observe the world in spirit form. Nothing to worry about but it can be terrifying if you don't understand what is happening. Due to belief systems you could create Demons or Aliens.

Weird noises are quite common. It's possible that the Aliens are in another dimension and you have observed them. Scientists dismiss it as the hypnagogic state.
