"speedy1 may not see much detox by being well prepared."

I never experienced much detox... but then I changed my diet first, before I even did my first real Bowel Cleanse I had been on my "new" way of eating over 5 months and off of all prescriptions and OTC anything, including cosmetics, deodorants, you name it.

Liver Flushes caused a bit of a change in energy levels one way or the other... most times for the better, a few had me dragging a day or two.

The only real bump in the road I have ever run into was one day towards the end of my high dosing Iodine when I was trying to determine whether the ill effects I was experiencing were detox or not. I ended up taking a sick day off from work. In retrospect, I believe that the ill effect I experienced was due to consumption of too much iodine.

I am now doing Monday/Wednesday/Friday dosing per Dr. Jarvis recommendations for maintenance. During times of high stress and/or lots of sick people around me, I may go the 5 days on 2 days off. This dosing will most likely not last more than a week or so at any one time though.
