Well, I guess there are different levels of exfoliation depending on what you use on your lips at night. Some things like certain lip balms will cause too much exfoliation making lips red and raw, while others such as aloe vera will only exfoliate just the right amount making lips almost normal.

With daily exfoliation, I have complete freedom with my lips, I can do anything,eat anything, any time, any day of the week :) On the weekends sometimes I put nothing on my lips and just go about life normally and by the time Sunday comes my lips will peel and reveal nice pink healthy skin underneath.
