in rare cases, a person can have severe detox to practialy any amount of iodine. it depends on how toxic, how imbalanced nurtient-wise, and how poor the channels of elimination are working. i believe it pays to add Iodine to the latter stages of a full program of health restoration, or at least at the same time instead of before. it depends on the persons condition. the other work has to happen, but the Iodine will make it go faster and work better, so beginning Iodine as soon as possible has its advantages and possible side effects as well.
