World War Two isn't all what you think it is either. Or any of the wars for that matter.
Vietnam??? The war was easy compared to what I've had to endure since returning.
Hell, itself, is located in the Northeast corner of Cambodia. Cambodia only lasted 6 weeks and I was one of the lucky ones to experience it. Was only there 3 weeks and it changed my life permenently.
Physically, the parasites and chemiclas ruined my liver. Almost died 10 years ago with liver cancer.
Mentally? Post Traumatic stress disoreder (PTSD) absolutely ruins your life. I've explained what that is in another post. The heightened awareness factors also ruin your life. (you become phychic). The rejection of us when returning home was and is still a problem. Once they know you're a Vietnam veteran they back off. Don't want much to do with you.
Fortunately I figured out how to resolve ALL OF IT. Yipee, huray, huray. I made it all the way back. Long, tough, fight though.
I think what save me is I started drinking distilled water when I got back in 1971. Just had the definate "feeling" to do that. And I've never taken a prescription drug or OTC drug my entire life. I confronted each and every "thing" as it came up and finally won the whole show a couple of years ago. (Aug 2005). Long time gone though so it took a while to get back into present time.
But what was Vietnam itself like??? Beautiful, a tropical paradise. Too bad there was a war going on. The war part was pretty nasty. Most people don't want to know about that side of it. What I remember most is the sheer volume of noise from the firefights, the screams of the wounded, and all the blood. I was a medic so I didn't kill anybody over there, I was always busy once the firefight stated. But a couple of times when I was with artillary I did participate in killing quite a few of the enemy. That was in Cambodia, 6 hour firefight, scary, real scary. It DOES change you. It ain't like in the movies.
Now, what about your baby? Why the therapy? Is it medical therapy, or Natural Healing therapy? NO drugs and no vaccinations.
Talk to me...
Doc Sutter
PS. watch zeitgeist tonight. That pretty much covers it all.
