Hey boem- Thanks for your input. I was not aware of the things you posted and they certainly make a lot of sense.
As a rule we should always run away from anyone that wants to chop off or extract any part of our body before exploring avenues of detox, nutrition and anti-infective measures. Teeth are incredibly important for us in our overall function and as you so eloquently show us on a spiritual level too.
Another aspect about the teeth is that they have a proprioceptive function. It's a fancy word that simply means it is intimately connected to other body functions and it is reflexive in nature. To simplify that by example.
The fifth mandible nerve is responsible for our brain function and entire nervous system. We need to chew and grind things with our teeth in order to stimulate the fifth cranial nerve which by reflex supports the brain and nervous system. If we are missing any teeth it disallows this stimulation to occur and the brain cannot get charged.
So the action of teeth are like the generator in your car. As you drive your car the generator recharges the car battery. So the action of the lower jaw pressing on the upper set of teeth is proprioceptive...it recharges the brain. Not to be taken lightly. It's an electrical action and the more teeth we have the better served is our nervous system.
This is why people who live on smoothies are doing themselves a disservice. They are not stimulating the brain by not chewing. Chewing has an important function. Always chew something everyday even if one is on a liquid diet. Another bit of wisdom for the day.
