Fenugreek lowers blood sugar, I had type 2, fenugreek helped get my blood Sugar under control, also Iodine has helped. Dulse is a seaweed and I think it has the most iodione in it. Thyroid, pancreas, part of same system, in my case all needed to be balanced. HFCS is the additive from hell as far as I am concerned, watch out for the artifical sweetener as well, they are deadly.
