I have been doing some research of late and something that may be relevant here in light of all the information on Vitamin D and its ability to reduce risk of many forms of cancer is that Vitamin D apparently has a synergistic action in the body, increasing mineral uptake in bone many fold. I suspect that if it does have this action in bone tissues, it most likely does the same thing throughout the body, they just have not focused on these studies yet.
