Hi San2006,

I don't know if it makes it worse, but on the Yahoo BV group I'm on, the ladies say that baking soda helps an opposite pH problem, which is overgrowth of acidophilus. Sorry to hear it hurts! Hope the folic acid works; it's doing well for me, not cured, but helping on a daily basis. I'm taking probiotics, too.
